I like the concept, but have to agree with rburgh's post. The deck is stacked way too much in your favor. You'd never get most of those players where you want to draft them, in a competitive draft.

You want to do this, I think this will be a lot fairer.

1.
2. Bagwell
3.
4.
5. Hamilton
6. Cash
7. Boone
8. Joe Jax
9. Cano
10. Posey
11. Beltre
12. D. Allen
13. Banks
14.
15.
16. Burks
17. JuanGon
18.
19. (Glaus)
20. Cutch
21.
22. (Giles)
23.
24.
25. Fisk

Waivers - Murphy, DH vs. R - Giles often gets drafted, and since you must draft two C's you can't afford him without giving up one of your higher drafted position players. Personally, I would pass on Glaus, grab Giles at 22, and pick up Tubby Scales as my DH vs. L. You could also use Clements, Kluszewski, or Votto as a DH vs. R, or flip Allen to DH vs. L and flip your 3B vs. L to Williams, Wright, or Hebner.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I revised the draft order similar to what was suggested. Only need 11 more and league will be full  Hurry

To me this is fair since I really don't have a first round pick AND I have no one elite except Morgan and Bagwell who are second and third or fourth round picks I would guess in a normal draft above $250. Let me know what might be unfair at this point. I wouldn't play this league with Cano at 2B as my right hand hitters are already weaker than left. My hitters are pre determined as follows: 1 Pitcher 2 Joe Morgan 3 Jeff Bagwell 4 Pitcher 5 Josh Hamilton 6 Norm Cash 7 Bret Boone 8 Joe Jackson 9 Pitcher 10 Buster Posey 11 Adrian Beltre 12 Dick Allen 13 Ernie Banks 14 Pitcher 15 Pitcher 16 Ellis Burks 17 Juan Gonzalez 18 Pitcher 19 Troy Glaus 20 Andrew McCutcheon 21 Pitcher 22 Pitcher 23 Pitcher 24 Pitcher 25 Carlton Fisk; Waivers: Brian Giles, Dale Murphy, Pitcher; Giles is sometimes drafted in this type of league; offset: I will probably be drafting a pitcher much too early in Round 1 depending on random draft order

I killed the league. Apparently no interest. Funny because I notice the alphabet leagues and crazy franchise always fill

No offense but why would anyone want to join a league that is specifically built around your whimsy?

For fun and for the challenge but it's not for you my friend if you need to ask. I'm thinking of changing one major caveat to provide the challengers with a distinct advantage. Stay tuned on the league directory page. I'm pretty sure there's enough interest if people are filling the alphabet leagues where your team is players that start with a certain letter. My league is a bit more creative and unique wouldn't you say?

No, that's the problem. The league should be named the "Gronk picks his players and then everyone else picks theirs" league. In an alphabet league everyone is restricted yes, but it's in a quirky but equal way. In your league, you get first dibs on any player you want, it doesn't matter if they are unbalanced or not, you still get first dibs.

I'm not trying to be a dick and ultimately I don't care. I just don't see why anyone would want to participate in a league such as that.
