Our $76M cap/Usage Restriction league has an opening

PostSat Oct 26, 2019 10:48 am

Hi

We’ll be starting a new season soon.

We have had very little GM turnover up to this point, but right now we may have a franchise spot open.

Here’s some details:

Player Set: ATG 9
Salary Cap: $76M
DH Rule: no

Upcoming season: 1955-1969 cards only
(...every season we jump 5 years)

*****

This next section describes the really fun challenging part that really makes our league unique and a lot of fun...

We have card usage restrictions:
———————————
All hitters cards with a green color injury rating - unlimited on at bats
All hitters cards without a green injury rating - 120% of real life card at bats
All S* with 270+ real life innings on their card unlimited on usage.
All pitchers cards that are not “S*270+” are 100% of real life card innings

(In the postseason all cards are unlimited on usage)

-

The first seven rounds of our player draft each season we do by a slow untimed live draft.
(You have 24 hours to make your pick, but most guys pick within a few hours of going on the clock)

Then we use the old fashioned auto draft rank to fill out our rosters.

I don’t check this forum that often, so if you are interesting in becoming a franchise owner in our league, please email me at ctf1995@yahoo.com

Thanks!

I've been in this league from the beginning and really enjoy all the day-to-day managing. If you're a "set-it-and-forget it" guy, it won't be your cup of tea. But if you like netplay leagues and managing usage, this is for you!

This is a very satisfying and challenging league. Take it from the sitting Barnstormers champ. I win the title, on average, in over 20% of leagues I enter, and I'm in my 20th season in this league and have exactly 1 title under my belt, which was about 18 seasons ago.

It requires commitment. If you're up for it I highly encourage you to join!

I am surprised at there is no interest in this awesome opportunity. I think it is real challenge to maintain usage. It keeps you interested all season long. Real teams. Real fun.

Things I like
1) Limited player pool based on 15 year segments. Players play in their own era
2) Limited usage. No abusing players. Players with green injury rating are unlimited which makes sense
3) player draft. You get to draft your core team
4) awesome managers
5) no downtime between season

Interested? Ask some questions.
