I have sent 6 emails to Strat in the past month, zero responses. They had been pretty good and responded within 24 hours for quite a while. Suddenly crickets. Anyone else experiencing this?

3 emails about the same game issue
2 about getting credits for the monthly contests
1 about a clarification for the monthly contests

6 emails

Maybe it was the holidays? I mean, they probably have a staff of about eight. Should be back to "normal" now.

I'm curious to know what scam you noticed in the monthly contest?

My first message (about the game issue) was mid December. Other 2 were during holidays.

They finally did reply to all three messages. Took care of the credit issue right away. They said there was nothing they could do about the contest question. And admitted there was a bug in the game that they are aware of and "working on" regarding the game play question.

I thanked them for getting the credits issued and for being honest about the other two issues.

Just my opinion...but the fact is that the top Nov challenge team currently is in a league where they are the only team with close to a 100M salary...and 113 wins...while all others in the league have about 65-85M.

The league is a gimmick league based on the league rules, and at least one person pointed out to me they think it would be impossible to field a team under the league conditions specified to meet 100M salary. (Rule was pitchers greater than a 4 ERA, and all batters a 4 fielding range or worse). I did a quick check--there were dozens of qualifying players at each position over 5-7M depending on position, and it's only a 12 team league. So it does not seem plausible that only one team managed it. But is it impossible it is just a lucky quirk for one manager? No I cannot say it is impossible.

So the fact is one team did manage to be within a few thousand of the 100M cap, and no one else is even close. Playing a league with such a disparity does not honor the intent of SOM's fair play guidelines and is a proxy for salary dumping, IMO, regardless of intent. But how to enforce that? I can't think of a way SOM could ever enforce that kind of thing.

Strat has taken over teams many times in the past I'm pretty sure for salary dumping and other issues.

I found your original post and agree totally. Especially since I'll finish second in that contest.
