How about this::::
GREAT NEWS...we are going to release ATG 9...on (,,,fill in a date because it will be bogus anyway)
Since ATG 9 will be coming out shortly (please refrain from holding your breath) ...we will hold off on 20.1 and add 20.2 to coincide with ATG 9 release...
Thanks for your patient and understanding...since once again we have failed to deliver on time...

"The word from Strat is the 20.1 cards will most likely be combined with the 20.2 cards and added to the set together."
So 20.1 will be 2/3 weeks late and 20.2 will be 2 months early...

I saw the quote however the quote did not have the last line you stated above.
