Dry Spell Shows HAL...Holds No Grudges

I hear a lot about the wildcard curse, HAL hates me stories, etc.
I took a look at my last 15 teams--it was a 13 team championship dry spell sandwiched by two champ teams. From $60M to $140M caps. So, a finals champ rate at 2 in 15, a better rate than a normal peanut-butter spread 1 in 12 distribution for 12x 12-team leagues.
The 13 teams in between the championship teams had a combined .553 winning % and 10 playoff teams of the 13...but just two finals appearances. Multiple 100-win teams that lost in the first round. But HAL made up for it on the bookends.
What's the point...nothing profound. I could say I was wronged by HAL during the 13 team dry spell. But those 13 teams were sandwiched by two champs, could say they were 2 for 2 to make up for the 0-13 spell.
Similar to real baseball, once the playoffs start nothing matters anymore. No entitlement, new season. Post season (DJ--wish you were still playing!).
Don't have any teams running at the moment, so did a little looking backward.
Stay well!
