Those of us who use DD should send the updater(s) a few team credits for their efforts. Come to think of it, Strat should let you transfer credits!

nope... andy said adrian came back to help him upload or transfer cards over for atg9 so hoping it will just mean inputting the new cards and changing salary values. A big undertaking, but doable.

When DD comes back after the switch to ATG9, I'll need lots of help inputting the new cards.
We usually have 25 cards or 50 to input. This time we'll have 333...…..

First, kudos to Andy for all the work he does to keep Diamond Dope current and for providing actual numbers on all new card nominations. Andy provides a great service to the community and I can't thank him enough for this. Also, many thanks to Diamond Dope founder Adrian for creating Diamond Dope and for working with Andy to keep it viable. Without the efforts of Andy and Adrian, there would be no Diamond Dope, which would be a huge loss to the community. Andy and Adrian, your efforts are greatly appreciated. There's far more than to do than input new cards. Most of the existing card have had price changes, which must be incorporated in Diamond Dope for ATG9. In addition there are these changes as well, which can be found at this link:
https://somonline.fandom.com/wiki/All-Time_Greats_9 BallparksThere are 254 ballparks available in ATG 9 , which include:
The 218 ballparks that were available in ATG 8
plus 36 new hand-picked ballparksThe full list of ballparks can be found a tab in the official ATG 9 Excel spreadsheet.
The following cards have had their old ATG 8 fielding ratings updated for ATG 9: Willie McCovey (1970): updated from 1b-4e18 to 1b-2e17
Dick Allen (1972): updated from 1b-4e15 / 3b-4e38 / lf-4(+3)e18 to 1b-3e8 / 3b-4e35
The following cards have had their old ATG 8 catcher ratings removed for ATG 9: Harry Bauer (1955)
Mike Blowers (1993)
Lou Boudreau (1948)
Ken Macha (1980)
Jim Pankovits (1986)
Harry Rice (1925)
Cookie Rojas (1964)
Lenn Sakata (1983)
Mule Shirley (1924)
Ed Sprague (2001) The following pitchers have had their old ATG 8 starting pitcher ratings removed for ATG 9:
Pedro Borbon (1972)
Mike Cvengros (1929)
Adrian Devine (1977)
Ryne Duren (1958)
Rollie Fingers (1973)
Mike Fornieles (1961)
Reggie Grabowski (1932)
Joe Heving (1941)
Ellis Kinder (1954)
Johnny Murphy (1938)
Ron Reed (1977)
Buster Ross (1924) With many of us sheltered in place during the pandemic, this is a good opportunity for all of us to pitch in to update Diamond Dope in an expeditious fashion.

Help is most welcome.
Luckily, since Adrian is rebuilding off the new ATG9 spreadsheet, many of the changed ratings that Bernie mentions will (hopefully) already be taken care of.
I’ll input the new stadiums.
That said, putting 333 new cards in is an undertaking.
And, if you’d like to thank Adrian for the work he’s doing in a game he doesn’t even play anymore, I think DD still has a link to contribute, once it’s back up.

I recall McCovey being an excellent first-baseman. The 1B-4 rating for 1970 was a surprise to me. Glad they changed it.
Thanks for attending to DD Andy.
