Just trying to give folks an idea of the players they'll be working with. It's a really interesting theme. Overall, I think the groupings of years work out to be quite balanced. Some years have a lot of strong players (like '55-'56), but also will have to complete with other teams to win those players (i.e., 4 groupings have a shot at Mantle and 5 have a shot at Mays).

To be honest it is a matter of scrubs. If you don't have enough scrubs you can't use the top players and fit under the 80M cap. I am unable to use any of my best players in my two year slot due to a lack of scrubs but it is interesting trying to put together a roster. Many combos have plenty of scrubs so is no problem. The 90s seem to be very light on scrubs.

The available years should have no problems with scrubs however so come and join our league!
