Commissioner League? LOL

What ? Not even a big discount either. At least give a big discount.

Buy a Commissioner League!
Buy a entire league of 6, 12, or 24 teams just for you and your friends and family! Whoever you invite can quickly and easily reserve a spot and create a team in your league at no charge to them! Fill out any remaining spots with computer-controlled "bot" teams at your convenience.
⚾️ 6-team league for $99.99
⚾️ 12-team league for $179.99
⚾️ 24-team league for $339.99

So for $99.99 I can buy a 6 team $80 million league.....and then after my league ends my STAR team will own over HALF of the all time hitting and pitching records for the 80million cap?.....until somebody else comes along 2 weeks later to SMASH my records

GIDDY-UP :?

The idea is to invite friends ( I’m assuming) because when you go to buy a team it asks now if you have a CODE,

This would actually be nice if the discount was something like $10/ team. ....but to go thru all that trouble collecting money to save $1 is dum

I think I remember seeing a post in the Wish list section titled "Can I create my own league, and simulate it?"

The competitor web site (don't know if I should reveal it - it's a sad alternative of course) - used to award one credit for the creator of a theme league once it filled. It makes sense as 11 paid is a good chunk of money. That might be something to rally for. There are a whole lot of people on here that make great themes that deserve to be rewarded.

SOM has some competition? To my knowledge, the only (successful) game that is similar is OOTP.

WIS

https://www.whatifsports.com its been around for years / used to be $9.95 for a team - I see it's gone up to $12.95 for a baseball team.

Believe it or not, I used to play a lot of hockey sim on the site - at one time was one of the top 10 hockeyplayers. Been years since I played there.

Try an SLB Exhibition Season for free !!

supertyphoon knows about it.... :D

He babysat my teams when I went on a cruise, and I looked in on his teams when he went on vac.

Boxscore Baseball is not a direct competitor as it is more like an amped up FantaSim, but I used to play when it started as a small proprietorship in NY decades ago...oh needless to say without a baseball season they are hosed.

Haven't played in decades...and in fact you used to send in your lineups and settings via mail (snail type) and receive your weekly results by snail mail as well. Best envelope ever. And the weighted draft results--that was a great envelope.
It is a sizable monetary commitment so it is not my thing, but there are aspects of it that were cool, like the weighted drafts, minor leagues etc.
