Longtime Giant's pitcher Mike McCormick passed away last week at the age of 81. Two cards in ATG both of which are far from his best year(s). Won the NL Cy Young award in 1967. Why don't we have that card!!

I believe I graduated from the same High school he (and Mike Krukow) pitched for.

i was at the game where he surrendered Aaron's 500th Homer. July 1968. it was a baseball weekend. went to both Sat/Sun games. now this is interesting. Braves played the Dodgers, then San Fran. Dodgers Thurs, Fri , Sat then the Giants on Sun and Mon. MLB doesn't split weekends up like that anymore. we always liked it because you could see 2 different teams Braves won all 5 games. i remember no one really considered the number 500 that big of a deal and thought Aaron would be lucky to get to 600. !968 was a slump year for him. little over ,280 BA and only 29 HR's. my biggest memory of the day was Mays didn't play and we all wanted to see him.

howdy House...
Don't really want a "Legend" manager in my Division, but it would be just right if the CHAZ Town Anarchists and 60's Riots make BLM Childplay drew together

Or 1960 when he led the league in ERA and arguably his best year.

Suggest one of those years for the next add, we should have one more player add left this year. I'm a Dodger fan and McCormick was not a fav of mine...no one on the Giants is!
