Always love a righty-killing lefty hitter in the 7-9 million price range for $80-100M leagues that doesn't necessarily need to be platooned. Adrian Gonzalez fits that bill. Nice .406 OBP and .757 SLUG on this Polo Grounds team after 99 games (46 HRs): https://365.strat-o-matic.com/team/1581949

I haven't bought Joe the Jet ratings for ATG9, so don't know how he compares to others as a value in that specific 1B player profile. But I like him overall, and I'll take the defense over his snail-like running any day. 8-)

I wouldn't play myself, certainly :)

I like the '65 Willie Mays best, and like a couple of the other Mays cards, too. Again, I don't what all the ratings say. Used to love the '39 DiMaggio, but he's gone up in price. Now, I'm liking the '72 Cesar Cedeno as the price has dropped a bit. A more recent addition I've had success twice with is the '11 Matt Kemp. The '59 Aaron is a great card full of hits that can play CF.Cheaper and quirky ones....I used to really like the '69 Wynn, despite him being a 3, now a bit pricier.
