Two of my starters have gbA's on their cards, my infielders are (2) 1's & (2) 2's, so not terrible range factors, yet after 15 games my team has only turned TWO ground ball double plays. The rest of the teams in the league range between 11 - 19. And looking for example at the team with 19, their pitchers are pretty much the same as mine and my fielders have better ranges.

When I checked my teams fielding stats, it just jumped out at me because all the other teams are double digits and mine isn't. Not saying it means anything but I did think it was kind of strange.

Here's the team:

double plays are a result of opportunity your pitching staff has an out of this world WHIP , less base runners less DP chances.

Same reason Sax is batting .400 and your turdly catchers are hitting over .400 - small sample size and luck of the rolls - nobody's hitting GBAs, but opponents aren't hitting anything.

Honestly I hadn't even considered that ... Duh.

But my slew of catchers are collectively offended by you calling them turdly :D

what I find interesting is you are 836/1566 favorable on rolls after 21 games, a 3 in a thousand chance of occurring randomly.

I love Charlie's stats. The 3 out of thousand... Do you teach math or engineering perhaps, Charlie?
