ATG8 vs ATG9

Have not visited in a long time. Still have a dozen credits though. I see there is now an ATG9 version.
What are the differences between the two. Did ATG9 get any useful improvements or just a repricing of players?
Anything I should know before jumping back in the water?

ATG9 has new Bullpen Settings, and you can only set 2 roles for a given RP.
The pricing has created a different game than ATG8. I don’t think it’s a bad difference, but it’s different. The days of getting 8-9 big ticket players to go with a 2m bench in a 100m league are gone. Valuable bench players are more expensive, some of the top tier hitters and SPs are more expensive, but there are more affordable good options in the 3-7m range for hitters and SPs. High End RPs have seen a big price increase, the cost of building a good pen has certainly gone up.
Overall, IMO it’s a fun and needed change to ATG.
