settings question regarding platoons

Perhaps I am over thinking this but this is the issue. I am setting a platoon situation with my left fielder (who only plays left field). His platoon mate only plays rf. However, my other outfielder plays both rigt and left equally well--so on the lineups settings I can switch them vs right or vs lefty. Easy enough.

The question is how do I set up the platoon pinch hit scenario. Will Hal know to switch my Rightfielder to left field and put the platoon mate in right field? Or is that too much to ask? Am I missing something easy?

I have only had success changing guys out position for position.
