Impact of 2020 "Imagined" Set on ATG?

Does anyone know if the so-called Imagined card set for 2020 will be incorporated into ATG in the future? I hope not...or I guess I hope there is only one set of 2020 cards made available. I don't know. My knee-jerk reaction without thinking about it too much.
Anyone else with info or opinion on this?

I agree with you.

I would be strongly opposed to any card from the 2020 set ever being in ATG. None of these cards will have sufficient plate appearances or innings to truly have an accurate card. Any season every player has a hot stretch and a cold stretch. With the 60 game season that would consitute their whole card season.
If we are going to have 2020 cards might as well start making cards for AAA and including them. Hey, Roger Freed once hit .400 at AAA.

Freed also once hit .398 in the majors

Sorry, Baseball Reference shows that Freed hit .398 in majors but never hit over .334 in Minors...he did however hit .309 with 42 dingers in 1976 and won the MVP of his league.

Looks like an asterisk-ed season

Well Mike Marshall the outfielder hit .373 at Albuquerque (AAA) in 1981 in 541 plate appearances. Hitting .373 in any league is pretty damned impressive. But Mike Marshall the pitcher once hit .304 (470 PA) in class A when he was a shortstop. He made 45 errors at shortstop in only 100 games so he made the right career choice by switching to pitching.

Is the 2020 season really less to base a card on than some of the Negro League seasons already part of ATG? Honest question. I love that Negro League cards are included regardless of the answer. Same question for pre-1893 cards, for that matter.
The imagined set should definitely never be included but a few judicious picks from the actual 2020 set might be fun someday.

There is no reason not to include the 'actual' 2020 cards- they played, the WS doesn't come with an asterisk, nor does the strike shortened season.
Now the 'imagined' season to me doesn't belong in ATG - but the actual 2020 guys, why not?
