If a batter is injured right before playoffs for 3 additional days, do the days off (before playoffs start) count towards the 3 additional days? Or do the 3 days mean actual games?

no the rest days are counted- If you look at your front office it will list the day the player will be back- 3 game injury on last day of season means he will be back for game 2 of playoffs
