A promising start

PostSat Feb 20, 2021 1:49 am

I was pretty excited about this team's potential before the season started, So far, can't complain. After 15 games our projected run differential over 162 games is +1156 runs.

Unfortunately we finally fell below .700 for team slugging after the last series, and .below 370 for team batting average.

Interestingly, on the division graph SOM so thoughtfully provides, my team doesn't even appear on my division's graph. Haven't fallen below .800 yet!

Does make me appreciate the '84 Tigers who had the incredible 35-5 start. I'm sure this team won't even come close to that but it has been an absolute blast so far.

I just had the reverse scenario. I started 4-18 and didn't show up on the graph until game 23.

The team clawed its way back into the wildcard in the last week of the season with no changes and won the finals in 7. That was a white knuckle ride.
