365 Customer Service Finally Satisfied

I have been playing for 8 years and have NEVER gotten a free credit from you guys...despite enduring many fiascos, I have never been reimbursed a single credit for said inconveniences.....NOT ONCE.

My AMEX account was hacked Feb 9th. AMEX notified me they were cancelling my card immediately that day and sending me a new card. The next day on Wed Feb 10th, AMEX called me and told me that they traced the hack to Stratomatic and they asked me if I made on line purchases with SOM. I confirmed. They immediately told me it was not a good idea to continue using my AMEX with them (you guys).

I have seen on the boards announcements of 2 free credits.

I feel that I am due my two credits at MINIMUM.

You guys have never contacted me concerning this issue. This is the LEAST you can now do.

you should've gotten both the email and an actual old- school letter regarding this issue.
I didn't initially get their first email, but then emailed them to ask why and have been getting subsequent ones.

One thing Id note, is that the dates were in fact, further out of the range they initially said - and dont think any of us would be surprised to find out that they started much sooner.

I'm sure Strat will get around to it when their lone employee...

Finishes cleaning the office.
Scrubs the toilets
Polishes the floors
Repaves the parking lot
Gets the "xmas" orders out
Handles the web site issues
Handles the online orders
Does some database maintenance
Prices the ATG cards that haven't dropped yet
Prices the 2020 cards that haven't dropped yet
Creates useless products that we don't want (Enemies set for example)

I would like to be updated if Strat-O-Matic ever considers selling the company.

Suppose I could pay for a D&B to get a ballpark idea what it's worth?

This is what 365 Support emailed to me earlier today:

Thanks for your patience. We've been through a lot over the past few weeks. As you may know from our correspondence with customers, a detailed investigation by a third party shows that Strat-O-Matic only had credit and debit card information stolen from Strat-O-Matic between the dates of January 5 to February 8, 2021, and only from a specific method of payment.

However, we understand that your card had security issues as well, as a result of purchases you made. Please send us documentation confirming this from your credit card company or bank and we would be happy to take a look at it.

You can't make this stuff up....AMEX (American Express) contacted me on Feb 9th to tell me somebody was trying to make an online purchase and my transaction was cancelled...the next day on Feb 10th AMEX contacted me saying the hack came from SOM....365 support says my alleged hack missed their Jan 5 to Feb 8 window by ONE day, so if I want to get my 2 wretched credits, I MUST contact AMEX and get them to submit confirmation in writing.

REALLY? Is it possible that the account was hacked on Feb 7th or 8th and whomever bought my stolen AMEX card didn't try and use it until Feb 9th? According to 365 Support.....IMPOSSIBLE!

I received a similar email this morning. I responded with a copy paste of the relevant bank records. My last Strat purchase was in early Dec,
They responded by putting two credits in my account.This morning.
So I'd consider that a win.

WooHoo!

After 8 1/2 years, I received my first and second free credits ever. Customer Service finally decided to show some grace and grant me the 2 credits for the breech.

Congrats Brad. They insist that I PROVE TO THEM that my card was hacked. I've been playing this game since the original incarnation just plain old ATG and yet after nearly 400 teams and however many years they insist that I send them proof that I had to replace my card. So now I gotta dig that out just to get 2 lousy credits. WOW! :shock: :o

Not to mention the fact that I had been in a cards & dice football league since the 1980's.

How's that for customer DISSERVICE!
