Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

So I was on baseball reference and looked at the "In memoriam" section where they list ballplayers, managers, executives and sportscasters who have passed away and I saw "Pirates usher Phil Coyne" and thought they are putting ushers in there now! When I looked at couple of obituaries I realized he was much more than just an usher. He was an institution in Pittsburgh as he was an usher at three different ballparks from 1936 to 2018!! We need more people like this in baseball not a bunch of sabermetric nerds running teams and making game and personnel decisions or the idiotic commissioner who tries to counter the nerds with ridiculous rule changes. After reading a few of the obits it's apparent that Phil Coyne was the soul of baseball and I have a feeling that there are others out there like him. I wonder if there are some people out in our community (and I know there are) who have stories about Mr. Coyne at Forbes Field, Three Rivers, or PNC Park.
