Question re. Unsuccessful Home/2nd Double Steal

This occurred with my opponent in one of my games last night...
My team was leading 3-1 going into the top of the ninth.
TOP OF INNING 9
0 K.Matsui 4-4 Double (CF) b-2 F9
0 2 D.Glanville 1-6 Single (LF) 2-H b-1 F9
Stolen Base 1-2 F9
0 2 J.Pepitone 6-3 Ground Out (1B) 2-3 b-0 gb(1B)x F9
SUBSTITUTION at PH: Connie Mack (R)
1 3 C.Mack 4-8 Walk b-1 F9
Caught Stealing 3-o 1-2 F9
SUBSTITUTION at PR: Brett Butler (role: PR)
Caught Stealing 2-o F9
Matsui doubles, and Glanville hits a single to drive in a run.
Glanville then steals 2nd base, and advances to third on a groundout. After Connie Mack walks, there are runners on 1st and 3rd, and a double steal is attempted. Because the runner on 3rd ends up making an out, I have to assume that the catcher threw to second, but that the pitcher intercepted the throw to nail the runner on 3rd (Glanville) attempting to steal home.
It's a complex situation for scoring purposes, but I believe my catcher, Ray Fosse, was credited with throwing out Glanville.
In a real life situation when this occurs, would the pitcher (or whichever fielder throws the ball) be credited with throwing out the runner attempting to steal? It doesn't really make sense for Fosse (or any other catcher) to get the credit for throwing out the runner on 3rd.
The inning came to an abrupt end when pinch runner Brett Butler was thrown out attempting to steal third with two outs (now that's some Aggressive Running!!).
