I'm sure many of you know the story, but it's still worth a read:

My man in the "Chicks Dig the Long ball League".

So this Jensenius guy has never received a static electricity shock from someone? (Not going to play semantics with this)

Jensenius says most of the lightning-specific details ring true -- except for the players saying they touched Caldwell and felt a jolt. "The human body is not a battery," Jensenius says. "It cannot conduct electricity."

WRONG the human body can conduct electricity. Try pulling somebody away from being electrocuted you will feel the electricity flow though their body directly into yours.

That's an incredible story about Caldwell. He was struck by lightning on the mound and actually picked himself up and got the last out of the game. I guess he was still under his pitch count!

Perhaps the person misspoke and really meant that the human body cannot STORE electricity as a battery does...it can certainly conduct electricity, no doubt

You won't feel it for too long.
