Ready for draft

I wish they would get rid of this option. You draft your team/you join a league and your in . This lets wait until everyone clicks the green button sucks. Make your team right during waivers.

Yes, I have teams "Not Ready For Draft" that I put in to secure my spot in a fast filling league and fine tune it for a few hours. It may not get any better, but it fills the roster :-)

Best way to avoid that is just join public leagues, so you don't have to wait on the same managers every season.

Adding players to your draft center, setting rankings, selecting a stadium are all a part of team building and the overall SOM "experience". These are "pre draft" things that contribute towards building your team and there are "post draft" things that do the same. What's the difference if while in a theme or a tournament you are waiting for players to JOIN the league OR waiting for them to mark themselves READY? They may still be working on their team either way.

The improvements in Commish tools that SOM has made in the last year have far surpassed any improvement they have ever made for our tournaments which now span many more than just Barnstormers. I am bowing down to what they have done and we didn't even ask for it.

I echo what kunkel40 has said. If you don't like it, don't play in any theme or tournament that uses it. In time, I expect that we can get the word across to everyone. But in the meantime, complainers accomplish nothing. These great improvements aren't going away.

I have to take exception with being called a complainer. I expressed an opinion and as a customer who by the way has spent close to 15,000 dollars playing this game , I am not sure why I would get such a response and believe it or not, not all the changes have been that great . I assume I will continue to plunk down the money because I do enjoy the game and I will continue to express my opinion when I dont like something. I believe that is my right as a consumer. Bill

The point I believe is that teams(managers) take forever to fill their teams and make their rosrters "perfeect" while the rest of the managers have to sit and wait for them to be ready...that is extremely annoying and I wish other managers were more conscientious about getting their teams done in a timely manner...yeah real life does come up, it happens to all of us, But in my experience it is the same people more often than not. SO the make your team "ready" feature in itself is not a bad thing...I believe it is misused by some people playing this game.

Just an opinion, take it for what it is worth.
