Please enter ERA of your selection in the location box and the Division in the Nickname box.
Example: Location: Expansion. Nickname: NL East or Location: Post WWII. Nickname: East.
Players belong to the "ERA Specific Division" with which they have the most cards. A player with an even number of cards from two or more "ERA Specific Divisions" is a "CONTESTED PLAYER" and may be drafted by the teams who have a player card for that player. A player must have a card from one of your franchises/teams in your "ERA Specific Division" to be drafted.
Example #1- Mike Piazza has two Exp/LA cards and one Exp/NYM card. Piazza belongs to Exp/LA and may play any player card for this player.
Example #2- Pedro Martinez has two Montreal(Exp NL East), two Boston(Exp AL East), and one Mets(Exp NL East). In this case EXP NL East has the right to Martinez.
Example #3- Derek Lee has one Cubs and one Florida. Either team can attempt to draft Lee.
Player Cards can be drafted across ERA's as well Franchises, as long as your Team Grouping has a Player Card for that player.
Example #1: Willie McCovey has two SF-Exp Cards and Two NYG-Post WWII player cards. Both Exp-NL West and Post WWII-West can attempt to draft McCovey and the successful tam can play ANY of his player cards.
Example#2: Hank Aaron has 2 Player Cards available on ATL-Exp (NL East) and 4 player cards for MIL-Post (East). in this case Aaron belongs to MIL-Post WWII. However, MIL-Post can play Aaron's Player Card from either ERA.
NO Nel player cards are allowed! Even if a Non-Nel player card exists for that player.
Example: The Indians Satchel Paige card is playable, his Nel card is not.
Once a "Contested Player" is drafted or picked up during frenzy, that team has full control of that player for the duration of the season unless traded to another team at which time the receiving team then has control of said player.
No Trades are allowed.
Illegal players cards (Player cards your team has no right too and any NEL player cards) received during the auto draft must be dropped from your roster during Frenzy. Everyone must purge their rosters of all illegal players prior to the start of the season.
