No right fielder, what will HAL do

I am in a No DH league.
I have a chance to get Kiner and Bonds in the line up if I leave the RF(and remove all RFers) slot open and Kiner on the bench.
Will HAL make the right decision?
It gives me a shot at having a, Foxx, McGuire, Bonds, Kinner middle of the line up.
I know this has been done But I don't know if anyone has done it successfully.

Please share a link to the team and/or keep us posted. Who knows what HAL will do?
BUT one thing is probably certain and that is that your outfield defense is really gonna suck.

If I’m not mistaken, the open slot (Kiner) moves to 9th in the order, so Kiner will be batting 9th every game. Yes, it’s been done successfully. I was in a league with Riggo who took three centerfielders, and left RF and LF open. He had two big guns who hit eighth and ninth every game, and despite the subpar defense, his team performed really well.
I think he did it simply to stretch his legs some. There’s really no point in doing that in a pool of like 10,000 players to choose from, unless you’re just really, really bored.

I will post a link after the waivers.
Bonds as a 2 in left
Hopefully a 1 in center.
Then I assume Miner as a 5 in right.
I am taking Bonds first pick in the waiver that runs at 4 today

You need to post the link either from your team page or league page. It should have a unique number at the end of the URL.

Yup that worked.
You better get rid of Gallego or he may start. Hard to say, but HAL usually favors guys carded for the position.
But I assume you still have work to do anyway with all that cash.
I am not sure--a guy who is OF rated but not for a particular OF position, doesn't automatically go a range 5/max error for the position. There's a modified OF adjustment chart that I can't locate. But I bet Kiner would keep his error rating and probably become a 5 range. But maybe HAL slides Bonds over and his penalty is less, the put Kiner in LF.
Like J-Pav said--HAL does weird stuff with the lineup depending on where the hole is.
It could be a fun experiment and would be cool to see how it works out if those are players you like and want offense. Of course, the net effect will not be positive to use players in ways for which they are not valued for.
But you still have some work to do--go use up your cash because NomadBrad is fixin' to eat y'all up if you leave it on the table.

FrankieT is correct! Gallego will definitely start in RF if you don't dump him.

I just ended up with a shot to put Bonds in my lineup because no one took him and I had #1 waiver pick. Somehow still got Foxx and Kiner.
This will probably be my last squad until after VFW ball (I coach 15 year old.)
And yes. I don't type well.
