It will soon be time for me to make that final walk into the locker room, and hang up my well worn spikes.

MtheB was my first owner name, then I started using blineimages around 2015 or so and recently started using MtheB again. I also have 3 other user names that I use for testing and research, so all combined I have played thousands of seasons.

I have already retired my blineimages moniker, so you won't see that name in leagues again.

I started playing the Board game version of Strat in 1965, and played thousands of games rolling the actual dice. I have hundreds of teams per the board game card sets, including the rare 1960's small deck set.

When the SPORTING NEWS lit up ATG1, I jumped in early on, and have played thousands of the online games, primarily ATG but I dabbled in the other games as well.

I have 4 teams currently in season with my MtheB moniker, so when those teams complete their seasons, I will be close to done. My final participation in the ATG world, will be to setup two Farewell Tour Leagues, with some unique features (owners are to participate in both leagues--one is DH, one is non-DH).

a) They will be private leagues, all participants will be required to be VETERAN owner level or higher. there are a bunch of owners that I will invite that I hope will participate.

b) I am creating a specific player set for the league, will send out the details on that set to those owners who are interested. This custom player set will be rather unique. There will be a point system to determine the overall winner of the two leagues, more on that later.

c) In addition to the prizes that STRAT provides, the overall winner of the two leagues will receive from me, all of my board game card sets, which is literally hundreds and hundreds of teams,--- at some point before the leagues kick off, I will provide a list of those.

I figure the kickoff for the leagues will be just after the all-star break.

So as we get closer, I will be providing more details

Its been a great run.

Awesome man.
That was my first manual card season also - the 1965 card set.

Hate to see you go! You have been one of the best here and always enjoyed the few times we were in leagues together. Good luck to you in all you do in the future!! You will be missed by many.

Tim

your in 1 of my leagues right now as this is the last day of that season...I started playing this game as a 8th grader in 1970 and just started the 365 game when the shutdown started...I wont ask why you are hangin them up...but as a newer player I will miss the competition from a veteran player!

Make sure you post those leagues somewhere so those of us who do not make the cut, can still watch them unfold!

Well with the owners who I hope will respond to the invites, I certainly will have no or little chance of winning any credits.....so I will be done..

it has been a great ride, all the way back starting in 1964 with the board game, and online starting with ATG1.
I haven't totaled all my stats from all my 5 usernames combined, nor do I intend to, it is a large number to be sure.

I certainly am not in the top echelon of owners, ---but I have to say I have enjoyed competing with them immensely. I always found the best way to learn was to join leagues that these guys were in.

i will of course continue my interest in baseball---- with producing my 3 part film series on unusual high school sports stories, and continuing to support our local minor league team here,

As Ernie said..... "Let's play two....."
