1st inning randomness???

I once had a game start with 16 rolls on the hitters card for my opponent. Usually bad things happen then.

I've seen many innings like that either for my team or the opposing. Of course, not 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 but something like 4-4-5-4-4-6-5-2-4-5-3-5-6

Looks like the rolls off the 6d were:
1 2 3 2 2 3 1 2 2 2 5

Looks like a plausible set of rolls of a 6 sided die.
I wonder if SOM were 1,3,5 for hitter and 2,4,6 for pitcher would you feel the same way? The odds would be the same of course. But the outcomes would be different.

Or in plain terms...ever play Yahtzee? :)
Otherwise, notsure what random test you are alluding to

In fact here is my test for randomness:
If the 6d rollset looks like 123456123456123456123456123456
then some will say perfectly "fair". And of course it would be perfectly un-random and should be viewed as such. That's when we worry. Not the rolls you highlighted. Those inspire confidence of randomness. Yes.

interesting of the 10 consecutive rolls except for the sacrifice bunt all rolls put the batter on base...guess sometimes i wonder how random the rolls can be as many point out on here these rolls are possible with real dice but 10 times in a row all resulting in a positive outcome for the hitter makes me wonder...and these were not the 27 Yankees batting

im just making conversation..ive come to accept whether there is more to the rolls that occur in this game or not it is what it is...I dont get too excited about it either way anymore

The columnar results from the cards were 3 8 7 7 5 9 4 10 12 7 7
rolling 2 six sided dice yields the following potential ways to make those numbers, from highest frequency to lowest:
Can roll a (7) in 6 ways
8 or 6 in 5 ways each
9 or 5 in 4 ways each
10 or 4 in 3 ways each
11 or 3 in 2 ways each
12 or 2 in 1 way each
36 total ways (combinations)

Here were the most common outcomes even in this non-valid tiny statistical "sample":
7,7,7,7
8
5,9
4,10
3
12

Looks pretty good even for a tiny sample.

Dude--it SUCKS!
I get pissed off when I lose to a team that had a 10% chance of beating me. Hell or even a 49% chance! I get that totally.
So conversation made. Hey it is good to revisit this stuff anyway to keep ourselves reminded of the mechanics, or even if one day...

the rule about probability is quite simple.

If it is possible for something to happen, however remote, then at some point,
it will happen.
