my SS, Ordonez is a 1/4. he has made 2 errors thru 135 games. all good but on the Sim Fielding Summary, on total X rolls, he is 123-116? his 2 errors make it 118, so where are the 0ther 5? thanks

I think those are infield hits

guess I'd have to see what the outcomes r for the 1-4. I assumed all the rolls between 1-4 would be errors, the rest outs

For x-chart chances you roll a 20 sided die plus 3 6-sided dice. The 20-sided die basically determines whether it is a hit or not and the 3 6-sided dice determine whether there is an error or not.

A shortstop with a range rating of 1 like Ray Ordonez will not give up a single on x-chart chances unless the infield is in or they are responsible for holding a runner on - these infield-in/holding on singles occur on rolls of 1-4 on the 20-sided die.

You know, I agree with that scorehouse.
I tend to favor the more defensive teams, but usually because I can then spend a bit less on pitching. Putting money into both seems to be a waste of $ that leaves you without enough offense.
