I've never seen this before. In a six team league, after 66 games the leader is 34-32, and the last place team is 32-34, with the other four sitting at 33-33.

It certainly seems unusual, but one thing about a 6 team league with a $999M cap is that every team will be stocked to the gills with great players. So it might be hard for any one team to emerge from the pack.
It will be interesting to see how the league develops.
