I was curious about trying this DiMaggio card -- the cheapest one for him -- and so did so in a recent franchise theme league. Great results for the money ($6.87M), so far, after 114 games:

Even more value to that card in $80m leagues

Exactly, this is from a $125M league, so just imagine this Yankee Clipper in an 80M league.

Hmmm...along with the hitting, a nice feature is that he gives you a 1e7 in LF, RF or CF. That's versatility. And I see that it lets you play Dimag, the Mick & the Babe in the same OF.

I only play $60M.
That's a big bite of the salary pie, but he should be the top hitter.

I used to use him often when that card first came out and had great results in Navin field...stopped using him in low HR parks and he has no arm in the OF

Early returns and small sample size aren't good.

He's $6.87M, so of course he's hit or miss in lower caps (100, 80M). What I like about that card are the extra base hits, fielding, versatility in all OF spots. If you pair him with higher OBP guys at the top of the order and hit him 6th or 7th to drive in runs, sounds like a right approach.
