Major flaw: Underpriced negro league pitchers.

Revised: The newest batch of NEL starting pitchers are all underpriced. Those $4m pitchers should be $5.5m. It is a big error.

I use the following formula for rating the cards: I do count a little for hold, pitcher's hitting, fielding, and ground ball A chances. But 90 percent of the rating is based on:

BB= 1.5 . single =2. double = 3. triple=4. homerun =5 .

F. Bradley 4.04 (1904). J. Jefferson 4.07 (1945). D Whitworth 4.70 (1938). N Winters 4.79 (1924) are all examples of guys under $5.0M but who are just as good if not better than cards than guys like D. Luque 5.41 (1922) P. Derringer 5.47 (1940) Ferguson Jenkins 5.43 (1968).

Thankfully, they would probably need a little more than an a priori statement that they are "all underpriced" by exactly 1.5M before repricing an entire set, but hey, who knows.

what is your reason for wanting NEL pitchers repriced? I've found them to be hit and miss, plenty to go around and more solid than game changers. there r way tooo many extreme platoon player and over-balanced RP-Onlys that I'd address first. In fact, I've been disappointed in the performance of the new Paige cards. on the flip side, I think there are way more over-priced cards that never get used. I mean never! at least the new NEL cards r getting some play.

I find the premise interesting in not only the unexpected post's subject but the 1.5 mil ubiquitous surcharge on an issue I've heretofore never viewed as Strat problematic? not objecting/rejecting just curious? oh and Constitution Man, thanks for the Mister! :D :lol:

thanks. from now on it b Mister Johnny Law. sorry but Marshall Dillon and Barney Fife r already taken by manager, The Marshall, even though I believe he's either taken a respite, retired, at least for now, or, after much deliberation and black box manipulated frustrations, fing quit?!
