This might be my new favorite card in the set. He’s almost a lock for 45+hrs and 100 rbi at 80/100m in a lefty power park. Some environments can change that but I have a lot of success with him every time I use him. He plays solid defense and he’s a basestealer if you like to be aggressive on the base path. Here’s a few links with him the first is round one In barnstormers the other two are my last two completed seasons with him.

This is one of my favorite cards for the reasons you mention.
. In real life, too bad Yelich hasn't been the same player as he was in '19 after that injury toward the end of season. A true 5 tool player then.

5 tool yes.
But my problem with him is the one L.
I really think he needed that extra L in his name.
But his card--oh--yes it always seems to perform.

Spelling may not be the fault of the 2019 Yelich.
Could be the 1886 Yelich.

That explains it. I am wiping it off my list of grievances!

I started using this card in a keeper league after seeing this post. He has been exceptional! Now in the 2nd season with him and he's cooking! This happened Thursday - 4 for 5 , 3 HR, a triple and 13 RBI!

Yelich is having a great bounce back year and has become an elite leadoff hitter.

Yes, it great to see Christian having a good year. Certainly not up to his MVP contender years, but at least he's back up to being the player he was at Miami. Still an elite base runner, maybe one of the best in the league as he's exceptional taking the extra base and almost never gets caught stealing. His defense has really improved as well and should be a solid "2" in SOM in my opinion.
Certainly a cautionary tale for small market teams signing fan favorite players who just won an MVP to 10 year contracts though. I think when he was signed, most thought he would have a career trajectory more like Carl Yastremski than Carl Everett.
