New league forming, simple concept, but something I haven't seen before. Love to have you aboard!




100m, no DH, 5% drop.

One simple theme for this league: Each team may have 8 hitters over 0.50m. Every other hitter (ie your bench) must be 0.50.

This must be true at all times:
-for your initial draft list,
-throughout the waiver/preseason period,
-throughout the entire season.

Anything goes for pitchers.

Absolutely fantastic idea, I wish I had seen this earlier. This simple rule would actually bring back stars into forefront, true All Time Greats, and less all-time platoons.

We're full now, but feel free to duplicate this. I'm always looking for fun ways to remove platoons from being too influential on the games. Sure they belong, and sure they have their place, but sometimes it's fun to not see Jordy Mercer and Mike Blowers show up and ruin your game.

Undeclared part of this theme was to try new players, some friends and I all pledged to try some new players in this league, at least to start the season. Avoid the players we usually find on our teams. Not having to worry about platoons makes this more palatable.

This looks like it might be different and fun. I'm sick and tired of facing these same platoon losers like Mercer, Blowers, Duncan etc.....

I just created another Nickel Bench League. Open to all! Basically, a No Platoon League.
