This is a countdown league, where you MUST have a pitcher AND a hitter at the following salary ranges:
10-12.99
9-9.99
8-8.99
7-7.99
6-6.99
5-5.99
4-4.99
3-3.99
2-2.99
all remaining players must be 0.99 or less.
IMPORTANT: The salary slot requirements must be maintained at ALL times:
-in your initial draft list
-throughout waivers
-and throughout the entire season
Any ballparks can be used
There are 9 salary slots for a no DH league, this is on purpose so that each team can have one decent bench player or a platoon.
In the "ATG 9 Countdown 3" player set, I removed all hitters above 12.99m and all hitters and pitchers between 1-1.99m to get rid of the Mercer/Blowers problem. This should lead to some new rosters for all and a fun competitive league.
The 200m cap and 5% drop is to allow for room to adjust and to experiment throughout the season, as well as for injury issues.
