So sad, the greatest all-around player in my opinion. The other day i saw a pic of his as a young NY Giants player, he looked more naturally athletic than any player we’ve ever seen, and his speed, but most of all, his amazing baseball IQ—he outfoxed everyone in the field and at the plate. So sad, but he exemplified baseball talent in all aspects, we’re so lucky to have him forever now as to what defines true greatness. RIP Willie.

When I discovered baseball, Mantle and Mays were my favorite players The Yankees and Giants are still who I root for.

RIP Say Hey Kid! Memories of watching him play against my Braves when I was a kid -- saw him hit a couple HRs at County Stadium. And listened on the radio when he hit 4HRs in one game against my Braves. He and Aaron were my baseball heroes -- now both gone.
