LEAGUE FULL: No 10s! 09292024 Season 1

<<UPDATE: We have filled our league. Thanks to those who joined or even expressed interest in joining. The custom player set is available, of course, (link below) for anyone who wishes to form and play in a league consisting of no cards with Usage ratings of 10.....>>
I just uploaded an ATG 9 custom player set in which all cards that have a Usage rating of 10 have been removed: https://365.strat-o-matic.com/playerset/browse/100740
You can view players and their Usage ratings under the Info/Help menu>Player Set Browser>Stats History. Unfortunately, you can't filter the list on Usage rating.
The idea was born of frustration and boredom being in leagues with owners that field unrealistic teams consisting of the same L/R platoon tandems and the same cheap, extreme-slant relief pitchers. (i've been one myself!) As a consequence, such "all-time greats" as Mark Brouhard, Randy Choate, Phil Weintraub, Dan Osinski, and 308 of their well-worn brethren have been sent to the margins of baseball history where they belong.
Unfortunately, it also means that certain beloved and legendary cards, such as '27 Babe Ruth and '63 Sandy Koufax, also are omitted. Because they also have a 10 Usage rating, they too fell on the wrong side of the clear blue line of NO 10s.
Quite humorously, the set also has eliminated many favorite #5 Starting Pitchers used in Four Aces SP rotation strategies -- rostered only because the game rules demand it and with the owner's fervent hope they never see an inning of work. So long, John F. Coleman and Randy Lerch.
Within the week, I will form a league based on the NO 10s custom player set. If you're ready for a change of pace, a return to a little more realism, and a chance to give some lesser-used cards more playing time, I hope you'll consider joining!
