Just out of curiosity who’s the guys you’re pushing for? Conversation could help build momentum for them. I doubt they change their process for adds though
I agree with Matt! scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. I had the Same problem on a couple of noms then quit noming them but still want them. amazing how people vote for cards that are never get used.
oh and I would also like to know which cards? my pet peeve is no one will vote for 1990 Ripken. set alltime record with only 3 errors at Shortstop. poor BA but still had over 20 hrs and doubles. damn good 60 mil or small ball/fielding team add.
Has '90 Ripken been nominated? I don't remember. He probably suffers from so many existing cards, just saying. That said, I surely would like a look at his '90 card, open to that. Key thing is you can promote your favorites on the boards.

I tell you, scorehouse, if he was a 1, he would get more support. I think the combo of his pedestrian offensive numbers and not being a 1 hurts his voting numbers.
guess I'm too pragmatic from the team assembly standpoint. Crosetti is a 1 but nothing else except GIDP's. he's used constantly. of course Ripken had an affinity for the Double Play as well, whether in the field or at the plate.
It really all comes down to price. For instance, if you told me Ripken was going to be priced at $2.75 I'd use it all day long. If he's closer to $4.25 I'd never use it. It all comes down to value for cost, with ANY card.
What really grinds my gears is the fact that there are so many great players (All Stars and role players) that aren't in the game, but we keep getting more Cochranes and Gehrigs, etc. Both of those guys are all time favorites of mine, but part of the fun is seeing some new names get thrown in the mix.
