I'm in the same boat as I've somehow backed myself into 43rd place with limited upward mobility.

The battle for the 9th spot is interesting, given the importance of getting the bye.

Old fellow Bruce holds that last free-pass spot with 500 points. He's done this season.

Muadib1950 might have the best chance with 490 points and 9 games left to be played, with a 3-game lead to earn that 5 point bonus for making the playoffs.

10. jlkahn 496 12. crgoddu 493 and 14. sociophil 492 are all within reach with playoff games still under fight.

I think the top 45 are done. I looked at almost everyone missing the cut and I don't think any can leap frog into the top 45.

So I've got it slightly different. From what I can tell hendrix08 and mwelter are still in the playoffs and could leap over us three at 450. But to do so they have to win their championships.

As for us (Sox040713, Casey89 and Rosie2167)...
1) if both hendrix08 and mwelter fail to win out we all go in
2) if one wins two of us are in
3) if both win one of us is in

The tiebreaker looks to shape up like so:
1) Casey89 - based on 2 Finals
2) Sox040713 - based on 4 Playoffs
3) Rosie2167 - based on 3 Playoffs

I could have it wrong but that's how I see it.

100 Mil DH- same as last year. Thanks guys for looking at the research on the potential semi-finals contenders. I've been pretty busy lately, but I'm try to calculate all of this out to give a more informed picture - soon I hope. Event 6 ending for almost everyone on Friday will help - but still those pesky playoffs.

I will also need to request the "credit" to SOM for everyone making the top 45.

Top 45, all I see is Hendrix08 just advanced to the Finals - for him to get into the Top 45 and bump somebody out, he needs to win his Finals series. A couple of contenders could still disrupt the Top 9 and bump BruceF out. jlkahn can get more points and move up and get in, Muadib1950 can still move up and get in. Sociophil can move up and get in.

More possibilities for Top 9 than for Top 45. A few more days for these Finals to conclude and we will have it. Except of course for Muadib1950 whose post season is just starting. Thanks a lot for dragging your feet and getting your team in late which causes the Semi-Finals assignments being delayed a week.

His team is pretty weak though and I think that Maddux, Koufax and Joss will make quick work of his road to the BYE.
