For next year, I think something like top 8 byes, then 12-24-24-24 for the last 4 slots. Adds postseason slots and rewards top 20

Thanks Moose--peace to the fam--condolences

I am ok with any format they choose. But i will say this, last year washington football team had a home playoff game with the record they had. Not fair. In this barnstormer i had multiple leagues where i was in the league with 4 teams current top 10. I had some really tough league placements. But ric flair said to be the best you gotta beat the best so i just try and hope for the best.

Thanks Moose, and condolences on your mother's passing. Peace and love to you and yours. And many thanks for all you do to make this a great tournament. If you want any help to seed and set up the semis, I'll gladly volunteer.

The leagues and divisions should be seeded in a serpentine fashion. The following is the correct seeding, where each league adds up to 1092, and each division adds up to 273. (Each row is one division.)

Code: Select all
10 33 34 57 58 81
15 28 39 52 63 76
16 27 40 51 64 75
21 22 45 46 69 70

11 32 35 56 59 80
14 29 38 53 62 77
17 26 41 50 65 74
20 23 44 47 68 71

12 31 36 55 60 79
13 30 37 54 61 78
18 25 42 49 66 73
19 24 43 48 67 72

Not a big deal, but for correct serpentine seeding, shouldn't 10 be in the same league as 72, 11 and 71, 12 and 70, etc.?

As for seeding divisions, sounds great, but with 24-team leagues could take forever to get all the leagues loaded in order...unless the commish can arrange the divisions after the teams are entered...?

The ranks are 10-81. 10 is in the same division as 81.

I was assuming the commissioner had the ability to easily arrange the divisions, but if not then yeah that's a consideration.

If we have a way to align the divisions without having to wait for everyone to load in order, that would be great. If not, at least having the teams into the correct leagues and then a random draw for divisions is way better than the current plan for putting the top 12 into 1 league.

Thanks for doing the work to figure out the division seedings Austin!
