2017 Finals Vote for CAP/DH/Draft Order

It gives one more player an opportunity to participate. That's a win in my books. And everyone will have a different solution as to what we should do, or whether this is fair or that is slightly more fair.

Agreed. Strat needs to make the needed changes. If it requires a weeks delay that should happen. Too much time invested by all to not get this right.

I have been informed by SOM that they have made the change. Chuck1234 now has control of BDWard's team and the league start date has been pushed back for this league only for one week.

I will notify all participants in this league of the delay and why and Chuck1234 can spend a week keeping what he has or revamping it to his liking.

BDWard will go to the bottom of the Top 9 list - we have made him happy - Chuck1234 is happy - a few people don't think this is completely "fair" but the controversy is ended.

Rick: Yes, prior to your announcement, my semis team disappeared from my list of teams. I was able to view the team and noted that it had been given to Chuck1234. While this is probably the best possible solution to a difficult problem, it would have been fun to tweak the team tonight and see how it performed in the very tough semis league.

Chuck is a good guy and a good manager and I'm sure he will make his mark on the team and contend for a playoff spot.

Now my concern is trying to figure out how to combat the super reliever strategy used by some managers in the Finals League. A higher cap, no DH league would be a big help, but I'm just thinking out loud. I'll cast my vote at the appropriate time. For some reason, the old adage "Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it!" is ringing in my head.

Since I no longer have access to league mail of Semis League 1, I'd like to thank those members of the league who made suggestions for potential solutions in this forum.
