2020 Finals Vote for CAP/DH/Draft Order

I like this idea.

First and foremost, I hope GaryClausen is OK.

I would not be bothered if we skipped over his cap vote. He can vote later without affecting the timing of the final league.

I agree that he should keep his slot in the finals if he checks in while the semifinal leagues are still in progress.

It's funny, I rarely get phone numbers when a player signs up but oddly enough, I did have one listed in my database for GaryClausen. I called, it went to voicemail without identifying who I had called so I left a message. Then I did a text to the same number and got back a reply saying sorry - no "GaryClausen" at this number. So - I went back into the signup email where I got that and I did record it correctly.

It's not uncommon for a signup to not give a lot of information and some will go so far as to cover up who referred them. Of course we know players who are using "new" identities to cover up something or other. Take the Top 10 for example. grazoonite is not a new player (if you happened to be sitting under a mushroom for a year) and not much information is known about GaryClausen either. He's using rocketmail which is another one of those throwaway email addresses. Might have been created just for Barnstormers and seldom checked. I will have SOM also try to run a database check and see if they have a different email address or any other player using his address. Any way possible to contact him other than what I have.

I agree with the statements to skip his vote but keep him active and I would like to reserve the #3 draft pick for him as that would be his most likely pick. If he does show up and prefers #11 - that can easily be accommodated.

If we get all the way to the end and he is still a no show, I will engage the board to get ideas on how to fill the vacancy including the ideas posted here.

SOM confirmed that the email address I have for GaryClausen is the same one they have and he has been playing "365 for years".

No help there other than an MIA player. If any of you have him in an ACTIVE league - can you league mail him ?
