Semi-Finalists unofficially set?

I checked the remaining finals to be played and didn't see any possible change to the top 45. Anyone want to double check that? Also the 45th spot tiebreaker seems to go to Jeffdoh based on making 1 final.

When can we expect for the finals to be done and in the books? Also, do we vote on the type of draft and if we're using a DH or not. What is the formula and when will this event begin?

Six leagues have finished their playoffs, so the scores of managers in those leagues are set. Playoffs are underway in the other six leagues. Once those playoffs are concluded—which will be pretty soon—we'll know for sure who made the top 9 (automatically in the Champions League) and who made the semi-finals (ranks 10-45) and what the draft order of the top 9 will be.

If I'm reading things right, the identity of the top nine are now known, but the serpentine live draft order could still change. Anyway, we'll know for sure in a few days.

Last year, once all the results from the first six rounds were in, Moose held a vote on the format of the finals. My guess is that he'll follow that approach that year, after consulting with the Board who help him manage this tourney.

But we'll see soon enough.

Thanks for the info. Do you know how the semi-finals (ranks 10-45) will be handled in regards to draft and if a DH will be used, or if that is based on a vote like the finals?

The finals will be done be Friday. II was only curious whether the results would matter except for the order of the top 9 and remaining top 36.

I've been tracking this and there are still some potential teams in their playoffs that will affect both the Top 9 and the Top 45. One player in the Top 9 can move from 5th to 3rd, and there are still a team, possibly two - that can move their way into the Top 45. A couple more days and this will be wrapped up and the Semis will begin.

For the Semis - the board voted on DH. This will be 100 Mil DH AUTODRAFT with the 36 semifinalists and the three leagues randomized by someone not in the Top 45 over on the main ATG board.

Actually, right now the cutoff is 456 points. I show 4 players still in their playoffs that can reach that.

boyer14 is "on the bubble" with 456 but can still reach 471 / boyer14 is up 3-2 and can clinch tonight
jack377 has 452 but can reach 467 / jack377 is down 2-3 in his playoffs - needs to win the next 2
mesquiton has 449 but can reach 464 / mesquiton is down 2-3 in his playoffs - needs to win the next 2
Mr Regulator has 444 but can reach 459 / Mr Regulator is up 3-2 and can clinch tonight
danielz is DOWN 2-3 in his bid to go from the #5 seed to the #3 seed (nothing to do with semi-finalists, just trying to cover all bases)

If any of the 3 below boyer14 win their WS, this could cause a tie at position 45 with tiebreakers needed. I haven't even begun to look that up. Of course, in a little less than 14 hours from now the picture will get a little clearer.

And actually, boyer14 really now has 461 points. He made the WS in his league, so that's 5 points for making the playoffs and 5 points for winning his semi's. SOM only has him with 5 points right now, so I need to address this with SOM - why they do not post the 5 points NOW. They will after the WS but this does not help us to calculate NOW. This applies to ALL of the 4 above. They all have 5 more than they show right now. *
