**Players Championship Event 1 deadline is July 24!**

The deadline for Event 1 of the 2013 Players Championship is approaching fast! It's July 24!

You can still enter the tournament after that date, up to the deadline for Event 2, but we encourage people to try to enter all 5 events. (The 2013 scoring system allows you to "drop" your worst event from your score - i.e. pick the best 4 of your 5 events - so if you miss event 1 you're not "dead" for the tournament - but we strongly encourage you to enter all 5 events!).

Here is the list of people who said they were joining the tournament, but who have not yet entered teans in leagues 1 through 10:

PLEASE GET YOUR TEAMS INTO EVENT 1!!!!!

(BTW we are now filling a league called "PC 2013 Event 1 League 12". League 11 seems to have accidentally lapsed when it had no entrants for a couple of days in a row).

We have about 150 people registered, but we have only 120 people entered so far! GET YOUR TEAMS IN PLEASE!! DEADLINE FOR EVENT 1 is JULY 24!!!

Whatever league is being filled at midnight EST on July 24, we will just fill it up with anyone to get the league filled by that Friday.

Then you need to enter a team in event 1! Event 1 is a pretty standard event, $80 million cap, and DH.

To enter a team, just create a 2012 team (not unleashed) in the usual way, for an $80 million cap. Then, click on "join a league". On that screen, look for a private league at the bottom of your screen (scroll down) "PC 2013 Event 1 League 12". Join that league. The password is PC2013.

We are currently filling Event 1 League 12. Please enter your team ASAP! The deadline for event 1 is July 24, which is coming up fast!

Bump - 3 spots left in league 12. If we fill that league with event 1 participants, I will start a league 13 in case there are other people who will be joining event 1 today.

If not, then that will close out event 1. If we need fillers (AFTER TODAY) to close out a league, we'll do that.

We need 3 to fill Event 1 League 12 right now. We'll wait till everyone gets a chance to get their event 1 teams in today. Then we'll fill whatever spots are left with filler entries.

Deadline is 12 midnight tonight (July 24), Eastern time. Only valid team entries entered by that date will officially count for Event 1.
