Event 3, League 8: At Long Last Filled!

League 7 filled, so based on this post from mesquiton I went ahead and created Event 3 League 8:

The commish has been too busy and requested help setting up Event 3 leagues, so if you have a team ready, you can start League 7 yourself (make it "advanced", same parameters as League 6 above)...if it doesn't fill eventually, fillers will no doubt be called on to finish it in September!

Bump. Still need 7. How long does the commissioner wait before fillers are solicited?

It's been over three weeks since GBrookes made this ruling on Event 5:

Ruling - two round draft stands, but serpentine, with the option to pick either a player or a ballpark in round 1, with the round 2 pick being used to pick a ballpark if not already taken in round 1.

However, the championship rules page on this forum still says the Event 5 two-round draft is "not serpentine." And the official tourney page says there will be a "1-round player draft" instead of the two-round serpentine player/stadium draft promised in the ruling.

Considering my Event 1 team bit the dust, I'm just waiting for GBrookes to actually change the rules page and tourney page to reflect his ruling. Why pay 60 more dollars just to get smashed in an Event 5 still stacked against players who did poorly in Event 1?

The rules page still says the Event 5 2-round draft is not serpentine even though GBrookes ruled it would be. The moment he does, I'm in for the league. If he doesn't by Sep. 10, then It's "til next year" for me.
