There will be a one round draft for unique ballparks to be done on the forum boards. The draft order will be the order of finish in tour points. Since each semi-finalist will have already used five different ballparks in Events I-V, they may not re-use those ballparks in the semi-finals. So, if a manager is picking 12th for the live ballpark draft in the semi-finals, he will have to choose from one of the 14 remaining ballparks (30 minus 5, minus 11 ballparks already drafted in that semi-final event).

There will be an eight pick live draft for the Tour Championship, consisting of seven players and a ballpark, to be done on the forum boards. The draft will NOT be serpentine for the finals - i.e., the draft order will be repeated in each round. These "seeding" rules for the draft order provide an incentive and a reward for the managers who finish with the highest scores in Events I-V.

Reference is made to the slight change in the point system, adding points accumulated in the semi-finals round to the manager's points total from the qualifying rounds. This will effect the final overall standings, impacting the order of picks in the live draft for the Champions League.

Here are the semi-finals league assignments. They will NOT be random. They will be known in advance, and assigned based on seeding the top 36.

The seeding is serpentine -

League One

1, 6, 7, 12, 13, 18, 19, 24, 25, 30, 31, 36

League Two

2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35

League Three

3, 4, 9, 10, 15, 16, 21, 22, 27, 28, 33, 34

And then within each league, each division using the same serpentine principle...

At the conclusion of the Event 5 League 8 playoffs, I will rank order the 36 semi-finalists and open up the ballpark draft threads. Although the boards have been fairly quiet, I know managers will get anxious to start moving again once that last out is made in Event 5.

Just wanted to let you know I'm still here and will keep things moving as we draw near to the end of the 2015 Tour. Please be patient through the Event 5 League 8 playoffs, which start on Monday...

LOL, it gets worse!

Unless I'm mistaken, gbrookes will drop down quite a bit when the 5 point bonus is added to 5 entry teams.

I don't think there is any 5 point bonus this year for 5 entries, though the bonus line is still at the bottom of your team list (leftover from previous tournaments), there are no points added.

If J-Pav beats GBrookes in game 7 tonight then the Final 36 order should be set and we can start the ballpark draft tomorrow. MChap is still alive in the league 8 playoffs, but locked into 4th no matter what he does.

I believe mpcharette (1 ring) is currently behind ycbill (1 ring, 3 finals) in their tie for fourth. However, if he wins tonite and gets the additional point, he will be alone in fourth.

gbrookes already has 12th place secured, so he is free to lose to me in our Game 7!
