Any interest in setting up a group text or chain to keep things moving?

I'm in Australia so a texting group probably will be prohibitively expensive for me. I can send and receive text messages to the US, but it costs $0.50 per message (I think).
However, there are other options. We could use an online instant messaging system like viber or whatsapp. Alternatively, we could set up a facebook group and use messenger...?
Obviously, mcsoupy doesn't realize that the draft has started yet. Once he checks the board and sees what is happening, things will go much quicker. Has anyone sent him a PM?

I'm not interested in texting via cell phone, but if everyone would agree to tag this thread so we are emailed every time someone posts, that oughta do the trick most of the time.

hey maybe we should just live draft this thing tonight or tomorrow night....the whole thing if we can't get "them" to modify a 8 round live draft...??

Of course I agree with Mastermosser56, but I assume that would be impossible. Also, as long as we did do a live draft, why do 8 rounds, when a whole 25 rounds can be done in under an hour... But that will never happen.

What we should do is a 9th round online with the order being decided by who was quickest with their picks.
Add up the total time between picks that we each made the league wait and whoever made everyone wait the least amount of time gets to pick first in that last 9th round and so on...
Maybe this is something that can be implemented in the future.

I checked in at 4:00 am, and again at 9:00 am. Jeep picked at 9:06 am , and I checked back at 10:00 and picked. I swear I saw teamnasty online when I made my pick!? But 3.5 hours later, no picks have been made.

I don't know why it says I picked at 11:09.I know I picked at 10:06 am EST.

If you want to PM me your phone number I will set up an informal text group for those that want to. We could also use WhatsApp so that Steve can participate (and avoid the text fees) if he wants.

Best would be for people to either post to the group when they pick or just text the person who's up next.
