Eh, I don't know that it's so much optimism as "trying desperately to be positive".

This is a bad case of "herding cats" and I've seen these things devolve because as it gets drawn out the passionate people can flip 180 degrees as progress gets more and more bogged down. It's important at this juncture for everyone to try to hang in there and push through as rapidly as possible.

I'm pinging each person for their next pick to expedite -- major kudos to Juiced JC for thinking up using the dummy league invite to send emails. This is a very effective way to move the draft I think ( via email ). Maybe something to think about as an expediting mechanism for future PC live drafts.

I am beginning to believe my pessimism regarding league 3 today was justified.

I think next year people should have to supply an email or cell number for rapid contact.
