ETA: interesting use of a player I've never even noticed in the set...

On the other hand the odds are 1 in one thousand that I make it out of the round of 36. Rather daunting odds.

that's nothing -I'm more impressed that Kershaw was a 20-game loser bust and more shockingly Kotchman hit into only 2 double plays.

Wow! I can't remember ever seeing (a) such a big discrepancy between run differential, "expected wins" and actual wins, and (b) such a big discrepancy between won-lost record inside the division versus outside the division.

Wow.... that must have been frustrating...
