"Super Friday" is coming this Friday Nov. 15!

5 separate leagues will complete their regular season play this coming Friday. With playoff bonus points being awarded (at least the initial playoff bonus points - 5 for each playoff team), that's 100 bonus points being awarded after Friday's games!

I'll update the standings as soon as possible after those games have been played.

After those leagues enter their playoff rounds, there will only be 6 leagues left to complete their regular season play - Event 4 League 9, and Event 5 Leagues 5 through 9.

It's the 7th inning stretch!

There's kind of a mini-super Friday again this Friday nov 22, as the semi-finals complete in Event 3 League 10, Event 4 League 8, and Event 5 Leagues 2 through 4, as well as the playoff teams being determined for Event 5 leagues 5 and 6.

Total playoff bonus points to be awarded by this Friday - 90 points!

Tie breaker question -is the run differential overall or head-to-head?

Tiebreakers for a 2-way tie are, in order:
- Head-to-head record
- Run differential
- Coin flip
Tiebreakers for a 3-way tie are, in order:
- Best record vs. teams within division
- Run differential
- Coin flip

I'm 99.99% sure it's overall run differential, not the run differential in only head to head games.

yeah, that's what a thought. Just wanted to make sure.

What about the league that entering the finals on 11/15? Each of the final teams gets an additional 5 points.

You're right, Ken.

But, from some programming quirk, the computer standings on the tournament web page don't add those 5 points until the finals are over. I'm not sure why. Of course the points ARE awarded for making the finals - they're just awarded a little late.

And I usually use the main web page standings to get the data for my adjusted (corrected) standings.

But, when I do the standings this weekend, I'll add the 5 bonus points (each) for the players that make the finals in that league on 11/15. Thanks for pointing it out.
