Looking ahead to the semi-finals

This is the way we did it last year. The teams are seeded 1 through 36 based upon total points for the first five events and tie-breakers if necessary. There are three 12-team groups. The groups are determined by the seeding as follows:
Group 1: Seeds 1, 6, 7, 12, 13, 18, 19, 24, 25, 30, 31,34
Group 2: Seeds 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17. 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35
Group 3: Seeds 3, 4, 9, 10, 15, 16, 21, 22, 27, 28, 33, 36
Divisions within each group are also not randomly selected. Using group 1 as an example, Division 1 includes seeds 1, 18, 19, 34, Division 2 includes seeds 6,13, 24, 31 Division 3 includes seeds 7, 12, 25, 30.
The semi-final draft is one-round, ballparks only, no repeat parks from the first 5 events.
If we ever get to the semi-finals, hopefully we can follow this script as opposed to the helter-skelter approach to Event 5 this year.
