Managers,

Here are the Event Two league assignments. Leagues 1-8 can start to fill right now (and begin on May 18th). League 9 will not be out until after next Friday (to begin on May 25th).

Some additional clarification regarding how this works. I rebuilt the sign up list in the order of the Event One leagues (managers 1-12 listed below are from Event One - League One, and so on down the line). I did this to facilitate getting to everyone's Event One ballpark in an orderly fashion. I then used the random integer generator at Random.org to compile a list of random numbers, which I overlayed on the sign up sheet.

Although I have a somewhat fascist viewpoint on running the tour, I want every manager to know that I am not taking liberties by "creating match-ups" or breaking up leagues because I perceive them to be overly strong or overly weak. The numbers are truly random, and because that is so, I expect strange (perceptions of) patterns to occur in the short run. While I also expect this to even out over time, I recognize at some point someone will shout "I was in all five League Ones!!! WTF!" Just know ahead of time that when you PM with your complaints, you will get a stick of bubble gum and icy indifference. And I'm all out of bubble gum.

In all seriousness, I recognize that at some point virtually every manager will feel they were screwed with a tough assignment while their competition found their way into soft leagues. It's because Fate hates you, not me.

You now have all day Saturday, all day Sunday, all day Monday, all day Tuesday and all day Wednesday to purchase and load your team ($60 Mil, No DH). Come Thursday morning, there is no excuse not to be ready to go. Although we have exactly 108 signed up (nine full leagues), I have fillers who are ready to play. If you are not loaded up by Thursday morning, expect to be replaced fairly quickly. Passwords are listed below.

Wow - we've had a pretty good morning push getting the leagues filled and we're off to a great start!

Unfortunately, the leagues close only as fast as the last guy gets in. On the upside, most managers check their ongoing teams pretty regularly - and all 108 managers have an ongoing team in Event One. So if some of you will please throw out an interleague message announcing the start of Event Two, we might get out in front of those managers who "don't regularly remember to watch the boards..."
