At some point very soon we should start to weigh in on next year's tour commissioner. One person who will NOT be next year's commissioner is me.

The person who should be commissioner is someone who is never too far from the boards. So if you generally work outdoors, or are on-call at the hospital, or if you're running for President of the United States, you might not want to take over tour commissioner duties simultaneously. If you're usually around and generally unencumbered, consider throwing your hat in the ring.

If you want to volunteer or if you want to volunteer somebody else, please speak up and be heard. We can tally the names and cast a vote, or just decide on someone outright.

I'll get the ball rolling and nominate keyzick to take over as 2016 Tour Commissioner.

Also, we should openly discuss the ups and downs of the 2015 tour in the Tour Debrief Thread in order to better prepare the new commissioner for next season. Please add your comments on how we might improve the tour over there.

I think keyzick is a great suggestion.

I still hold my position that winning a league championship should come with some extra points, although I'm sure it wouldn't change the settings all that much.

Jeff, you did an amazing job this year as commissioner and whoever follows you will have a lot to live up to. Even if we do still disagree on the value of winning a Championship, I have to admit the scoring has been clean and efficient and it sure looks like a great 36 still left.

Just reading this today, and appreciate Jpav's nomination as well as Marc's support. I'd be more than happy to accept, but certainly understand if other parties are interested.

Jeff set the bar high, but the precedence established with his processes will go a long way as a foundation for anyone who follows.

I agree, my vote's for Keyzick!

Perfect. Keyzick is a great choice. An added benefit is that Keyzick just joined our original USKL KEEPER League and will be so distracted by the Tourney, he will make lots of personnel errors. That would mean I would get a chance for my USKL team to take 11th place next season. 1 step at a time.
